Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-11-04
These terms apply when you or your organisation use Brainpot AI (“Brainpot”, “the service”), provided by Try New Things AB, Swedish company registration number 559438-2326 (“we”, “us”).
Brainpot is sold to businesses only. By creating a workspace or subscribing you confirm that you act on behalf of a company or organisation, not as a consumer.
1. The service
Brainpot stores your team's shared context (pages and facts) and makes it available to the people you invite and to the AI tools they connect through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Brainpot does not run AI models on your content.
2. Accounts
- You sign in with email links and passkeys. Keep access to your email and devices secure.
- The person who creates a workspace is its owner and acts on behalf of the organisation that uses it.
- Admins decide who is a member and who can read or write each part of the workspace.
3. Your content
- You own everything you and your AI tools put into Brainpot. We use it only to provide the service to you.
- You can export all of it at any time, on every plan, as Markdown and JSON.
- Do not store passwords, API keys or other secrets, and do not store content you have no right to share with your team. Brainpot refuses obvious secrets automatically.
- When we process personal data in your content, we do so as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement.
4. AI tools you connect
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot and other clients are provided by third parties under their own terms. When you connect one, it can read and write what your account can, and its provider processes what it reads under its terms. You can disconnect a tool at any time under Connect.
5. Plans, payment and cancellation
- Free is free with the limits shown on our website. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe.
- Prices exclude VAT. Swedish customers pay 25% VAT. Customers in other EU countries give a valid VAT number and are reverse-charged. Elsewhere, local rules for business purchases apply.
- Extra people are added to your subscription right away, prorated. Removed people stop counting from the next billing period.
- You can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. We do not refund partial periods unless the law requires it.
- If a payment fails, we remind you for 14 days. After that the workspace becomes read-only, never deleted straight away. After 90 days without payment we email you, and delete the workspace 30 days later.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. New prices apply from your next billing period.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Brainpot to break the law, infringe others' rights, attack the service or other users, or try to reach data you have not been given access to. We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Brainpot available and your data safe, with encrypted backups kept for 30 days. The service is provided as is; we do not promise it will be free of interruptions. We may improve or change features; we will give notice before removing anything you depend on in a paid plan.
8. Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data that you could have prevented with an export. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Brainpot and delete your workspace at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or at once if you seriously breach these terms. Either way you can export your content first.
10. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts.
